There are a mix of county, state, and federal campgrounds, as well as other private campgrounds. We have listed some of the best camping spots below. Be sure to book your campsites early to avoid disappointment, and keep in mind that some campgrounds do not allow you to sleep in your campervan rentals. If you choose to camp at one of them, please add a tent during checkout. Free camping or "boondocking" is illegal and frowned upon by the local community.
